Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has emerged to the forefront of the martial arts industry; widely regarded as the most effective martial art to train for self-defense. Coach Brian McLaughlin provides a wealth of grappling knowledge to the residents of the Hudson Valley, incorporating years of competition and self-defense experience into our curriculum. We pride ourselves on creating a grappling atmosphere where we always start on the feet, ready to shoot in for takedowns or defend our opponents take down attempts. All of our students are exposed to the most effective wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques. Not only is Coach Brian widely regarded as the most qualified and experienced coach in the area, but he always views himself as a student. Actively seeking instruction, Brian spends most of his off time traveling to learn cutting edge grappling techniques to bring back for his students.
